Roberto Mikio Kassuya

Roberto Mikio is Scientific Director of Brazil at SJT Molecular Research. Responsible for product development he is the link with Universities in Brazil and supervisor of tests and trials conducted in Brazil.

He holds a Degree in Industrial Pharmacy from the State University of Maringá (UEM), Brazil and a postgraduate degree in Business Management at the Getulio Vargas Foundation of Brazil (FGV). Roberto completed his education with studies in Industrial Administration, at the Faculty of Administration and Economics of Curitiba, Brazil.

Roberto Mikio served in different positions within the industry: Pharmacist in Fármaco Industria Farmacéutica LTDA; Researcher in the new product development sector at Laboratorio Catarinense, S/A.; Industrial Manager in Laboratorio Santo Antonio, S/A.; Scientific Director of Brazil at Functional Products Innovation, S.L. and at JT Scientific Development.

He has extensive experience in the development of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Roberto Mikio has also carried out preclinical and clinical studies, developed pharmaceutical products and implemented product stability programs. During his professional career, he has also served in customer service and in the assembly of quality control departments.
